Well, I know times are tough today for a lot of us. Now I sincerely hope you're not going to hollar (yell) at me for asking for a spare dollar. If the thought of that makes you upset or angry, certainly don't do it. Let's part here as friends and I simply will say to you, "thanks for stopping by and have a great day". If however, you wouldn't miss the donation, I want to thank you. I must stress that I am asking only from those that can afford to give money and won't even notice it missing in their wallet or purse. I must tell you respectfully, that I prefer not going into my life's story and how I ended up in this situation. Many of you don't care (you have your own problems, I understand that) and many would think I was lying....
Okay, that wouldn't be fair to those that really do want to know a little about my situation. Let me tell you briefly, one of the worst things that happened to me financially. I had a very close friend that told me about this fellow from his church that was telling everyone that wanted to listen how he made great money playing the stock market. This guy said he could make money off of the stock market, regardless of whether the stock market went up or down. I told my friend to have this guy come over and talk to me and show me on paper how this worked. He had already shown my friend on paper how it worked and he was convinced. Now, I have never been involved with the stock market so I should have not even initiated this. I should have told my friend that "I'm not interested". Well, unfortunately, I didn't. I invited this "rat" over. He came over, with a large briefcase full of printouts that were "example" stock market earnings. He laid out sheet after sheet of printouts on my kitchen table. What he showed me appeared to work! I could make money whether the market went up or down. Now the sad part of all this. I gave him all of my profit I made from the sale of my small house.
This came out to $10,300. My ladyfriend begged me not to do this as did my family too, but I was convinced that this investment would pay off big. My friend (who told me about this guy) also gave him a very large sum, closer to $50,000. We were not the only ones that fell for this scam. Doctors and lawyers who went to that church and spoke to this rat, fell for it too! Their "investments" were a lot more then mine, hundreds of thousands of dollars. Some investing over a million dollars with this scam artist! Retired folks on fixed incomes gave there life savings too. The evil man that did this has avoided prison by acting mentally ill and showing up in court in a wheelchair. He is monitored now, only received house arrest at this point. I and all of the others are out the money. The evil man transferred all of his "loot" to his father the minute he knew he was in trouble. The courts can't touch it. Well, that's the one true story about my life I have shared with you all. No, I didn't lose a million dollars like some of the more wealthy investors did, but that $10,300 I did lose might as well have been a million dollars. It was to me. I would love to have that money back to put down on another house someday or pay credit card bills today. I would like to take this time and thank you all for stopping by. If you decide to make any donation I sincerely appreciate that and hope to make a "friend" in the process. I look forward to you visiting my donation talk forum with any encouraging or positive posts, whether you donate or not. Positive and encouraging words are worth a lot too!
If you should care to donate, I have provided a PayPal donate link below. Thank you again.
